Frequently asked questions

What is a cheat table?

A .CT file for Cheat Engine with ready-made entries – values, pointers and scripts – that you toggle with a tick box or a hotkey.

Are the tables free?

Yes. Every cheat table on the site can be downloaded for free.

Where do I get Cheat Engine?

Only from the official site cheatengine.org. This site is not the official Cheat Engine website.

The table does not work. What now?

Check that your game version and Cheat Engine version match the ones on the table page, load a save before you attach and enable scripts one at a time. If it still fails, use the report button.

Are .CT files safe?

A table is plain XML, but it can contain Lua scripts. Review a table before you run it and only allow its Lua script if you understand it.

Can I get banned?

Cheat tables are for single-player games. Never use them online.

How do I request a table?

Open the requests page, search for the game and vote, or create a new request.
