About Valor Mortis
Valor Mortis casts you as a former soldier of Napoleon's army, raised from the dead. It is a first-person action game built on soulslike rules, made by One More Level, the team known for Ghostrunner. Horrifying creatures have overrun the world, and a conspiracy that reaches well beyond the battlefield threatens all of humanity.
You fight with blades such as the Rapier and the Saber and back them up with supernatural powers. Since launch, patches have tuned enemy hitboxes and damage windows, and the Halloween update added new critical attacks for both blades plus themed weapon skins. The game is single-player only, supports controllers including DualShock and DualSense, and offers subtitle options, HDR and Steam Cloud saves.
