VOID/BREAKER

VOID/BREAKER puts you inside a repeating cycle run by a hostile AI, with its machines sent to stop you at every turn. Stubby Games built it as a first-person shooter, but enemy fire arrives in bullet hell volleys, so dodging counts for as much as aiming. Runs lead through zones full of enemies and bosses, and the aim is to break out of the loop for good.

Your weapons decide how each attempt goes. The gun modding system can produce a huge range of variants, and the right mix of parts and effects creates synergies that change how a build handles. Much of the environment is destructible too, letting you tear down cover and open new routes. The game is single-player, supports controllers, and offers Steam Achievements, cloud saves and saving at any time.
